“Officer Tracey was a Cape visitor and vacationer, and was recognized in 2018 for helping to save the life of a woman on a Yarmouth beach while on vacation,” Wellfleet police officials remembered.

Paul Tracey was off-duty in 2018 when he saved a woman from overdosing. He died in Waltham while working a police detail on Wednesday.
