In honor of Small Business Saturday, I and a few other small business owners in Newton celebrated by spending an afternoon supporting one another by shopping at each other’s stores— it was a blast. We visited Derby Farm Flowers at Piccadilly Square , Just Next Door Cards and Gifts in Auburndale, Fulfilled Goods in Newtonville, and, of course, our shop, Greentail Table in Nonantum. The visits also helped us better understand each store’s product offerings so we can point customers in the right direction if we don’t carry what they’re looking for. We hope you will support these women-owned and other local and small businesses this holiday season!
